Activer Multidex par build.gradle de votre application module

multiDexEnabled true

Ensuite, suivez les étapes ci-dessous -

1. De la Build menu -> appuyez sur l' Clean Project bouton.
2. Lorsque la tâche est terminée, appuyez sur l' Rebuild Project bouton à partir de la Build menu.
3. À partir du menu File -> Invalidate cashes / Restart

compile est maintenant obsolète il est donc préférable d'utiliser implementation ou api

J'utilise Android Studio 3.0 et je rencontrais le même problème. J'ajoute ceci à mon grade:

 multiDexEnabled true
 

Et ça a marché!
