INSÉRER plusieurs enregistrements à l'aide d'un enregistrement actif ruby on rails

Existe-t-il un moyen d'INSÉRER plusieurs enregistrements plutôt qu'un seul à la fois ?

J'ai une tâche de râteau très très moche qui fait ce qui suit ...

Cela doit être extrêmement inefficace et il doit y avoir un meilleur moyen...

Malheureusement, ce n'est pas possible dans Rails prêt à l'emploi.

Cependant, activerecord-import est un excellent bijou pour Rails 3.x qui ajoute une import à vos classes de modèle et fait exactement ce que vous voulez en tant qu'instruction d'insertion SQL unique.

Les insertions en masse peuvent être effectuées à l'aide de méthodes nouvellement ajoutées : insert_all, insert_all ! et upsert_all.

Vous pouvez envelopper vos instructions ActiveRecord dans un ActiveRecord::Base.transaction :

 ActiveRecord::Base.transaction do 
  1000.times { Post.create(options) } 
end
